Is the same to use replaygain inside Xrecode or mp3gain ? i have read http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....showtopic=24527 i need a short answer |

XRecode, as is obvious, transcodes.
MP3Gain adjusts losslessly (and the same method is available in foobar2000). The latter uses 1.5 dB precision rather than being exact. Which is better? That depends. MP3Gain’s precision is probably close enough and avoids you having to transcode, so perhaps you would prefer that. |
