Hi AAC developers,
How do you split bitrate among channels in 5.1 configuration? 5.1 = front stereo pair + mono center + back stereo pair + subwoofer For example: 256 kbps = ? + ? +? + ? Thanks! Danijel |

I would hope that it is divided according to the difficulty of encoding each channel rather than in a fixed ratio. Also, it should take advantage of similarity of channels by encoding the sum and difference of pairs, etc.
