The digital waveform in the first picture is a plot of the samples. It is a correct plot of the samples . Not quite. It is a plot of the samples with straight lines drawn between them, something no DAC would ever do. true, true, adding the lines is dubious. I used audacity a few years ago and as I remember the lines switch off at the sample resolution magnification. I wonder what software the original "plots" came from. |

just checked audacity , the lines stay on .
