The title pretty much says it all. I have several mono songs that were encoded into 2-channel .m4a tracks by the Nero encoder, and would like to strip out one of the two identical channels without reencoding. How would I go about this? Thanks.

I have several mono songs that were encoded into 2-channel .m4a tracks by the Nero encoder, and would like to strip out one of the two identical channels without reencoding. Except in special circumstances, this isn't possible because of how M/S coding works in AAC. Just leave them as stereo. |
