Does anyone experience this issue that files encoded with Lame MP3 do not play back gapless on an iPod Touch over "Home Sharing"
Copying to the iPod Touch then gapless works fine. I have tried different apps to encode to MP3 and 3 different iPods. Any suggestions ? |

I doubt it's anything to do with LAME. Did you test it with any other encoders? What were the results? It's not clear from your original post. Of course copying to the device will work as it's not using the streaming software at all.
As an example most DLNA streamers won't do gapless playback due to the way it works. It could just be the way Apple have implemented streaming? |
