Does anyone experience this issue that files encoded with Lame MP3 do not play back gapless on an iPod Touch over "Home Sharing"
Copying to the iPod Touch then gapless works fine. I have tried different apps to encode to MP3 and 3 different iPods. Any suggestions ? |

Apple Lossless, AAC, Mp3 encoded with iTunes all play back gapless over "Home Sharing" it is only Mp3's with Lame that don't. I have tired with serval application to create a lame mp3. They not Gapless only on an iPod Touch i have tried 3 different iPod Touch all the same results. Using "Home Sharing" with an Apple TV Lame MP3's do play back gapless. I assume this is an issue of the iPod.
It's not too much of a concern as i have all my music backed up in Apple Lossless i can just transcode to AAC i just rather have my music in MP3 for more compatibility with other devices. This post has been edited by RobertoDomenico: Mar 7 2012, 01:34 |
