I know there are apps for controlling your library like a remote, but is there actually a music player for Android yet?

Hello. I am using BubbleUPnp. This is a dlna and music player can read dlna server or local files and can render to a dlna rendrer or the mobile unit. He can Display the currently playing album art but can't modify the track properties. Serge.

I'm not sure I understand your question. There are dozens of music players for Android.
Personally, I use Poweramp. It is quite feature complete (e.g. it has gapless playback and replaygain support) and has a nice UI. Also, conceptually, n7player looks quite nice, but I haven't tried it yet. It's on my todo-list to give this player a go. But... since this is posted in the fb2k forum, this question must be related to foobar2000 somehow. I'm missing the link here... -------------------- Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.

Yeah sorry lol I meant the actual foobar player itself. Or if that doesn't exist yet, a free player that supports gapless playback and replaygain. I'm not sure if the free version of poweramp supports those features.

It supports these features and others like embedded cue-sheets in files. But it isn't free.

I would like an Adroid player similar in concepts with foobar2000 too. But that would mean a different project and programming from the ground up.
Right now I am using PowerAmp, the payed version and the only thing that I'm missing is the usage of TAGZ (configure them as I see fit). Have a nice day! |

I use the FLAC friendly andLess though the default player in Cyanogen7 (Gingerbread) supports Flac anyway.

I'm using ArkMC. It's DLNA certified controller, renderer, server, player. Also it's able to playback and stream media from YouTube. I tested several apps for Android, and stopped on Arkmc.
