Check the wiki. QUOTE Unless noted otherwise, the recommended LAME compile for optimal quality is always the latest stable version. QUOTE -b 320. This is the strongest setting for MP3, with the lowest risk of artifacts. thanks, but which version of foobar to download in there official site there is one stable and one latest beta? Unless you find something that's important to you in the changelog, I'd stick with stable. One reason is that beta versions stop working some 30 days-ish from their release. That always when I'm in the middle of no internet connection -.- Another reason is that although Peter (foobar's developer) is very digilent, beta versions show regressions from time to time, those are usually sorted out in the stables. also how to use replaygain through foobar when flac to mp3? or shoul i use mp3gain then suggest me how to use it I'd use foobar. You can still decide whether to use ReplayGain tags (only used by players that support RG) or apply the changes to the files, like mp3gain does. |
