Hi,
There was a time when I developed Avonlea Light for Foobar (http://z--x.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d19it02). I'd used PanelsUI and several small plugins then and using whole thing ever since. I know PanelsUI is long forgotten (pity, I found it nice to code), so tried to get up to date with modern theming methods. Checked wiki, some forum posts and I am overwhelmed. I can't figure out where to start. Where to begin with porting my old theme to newest version and plugins. Which plugins are being used nowadays? ColumnsUI, right? But what to put in there to achieve something similar to my old Avonlea (switching playlist modes, switching window sizes, showing that big info panel on the right if the window is wide enough)? Could you please point me to the right direction? This post has been edited by z-x: Apr 18 2012, 14:53 |

As a start: wsh_panel_mod, panel_splitter, elplaylist. Unlike years ago, some of the customization hosting components will also work within the Default User Interface.
I'd just open the zip files from various current deviantart foobar2000 configurations. There will clearly be a commonality to the used components. Starting point and another This post has been edited by tpijag: Apr 18 2012, 15:01 |
