I have been making duplicates of audio files on my Mac (by right clicking on the file and then hitting duplicate), and it occurred to me that it is technically possible that the duplicates could be worse quality than the original non-duplicated files. Is this possible? Or am i just being paranoid?
Thanks everyone |

Of course, any file can be corrupted during writing or reading if your drive is faulty enough, but that would apply to text documents just as much as music, and a problem that bad would probably render your OS unable to run anyway.
