I have started ripping my cd collection to aac files using itunes and noticed that when I turn error correction on it takes on average 15 minutes to rip a cd. With error correction off it only takes about 5 minutes to rip a cd. Anyone know how error correction works in itunes and if I am wasting my time using it? All of my cds are in mint condition with no scratches.
