Reverting theme changes

Hi.

I've just been experimenting with importing modifying themes, and was wondering if a theme is imported via a .fth file and combined with an existing one, does the existing theme with the new changes automatically get saved, or does this have to be manually done?

Also, if I were to select a pre-defined theme from the Quick Setup window, will my changes get lost?
