Hey, I've just been messing around sorting out my media library and noticed the library size is at least 7GB smaller (when viewed in playlist manager) than if I check the properties of those folders in Explorer. Using foo_uie_albumlist, the reported size is 857GB vs 864GB in Explorer.. foo_facets reports an even smaller size of 830GB (though i'm not surprised in this case as there are a lot of albums facets doesn't pick up properly due to however it reads tags (some albums are invisible in my facets panel until i re-tag them). Is there any particular reason i might be missing those 7gb's within the album list panel? another tagging issue or something? while the library does consist of other files e.g. cue/txt/cover art etc i highly doubt they would take up 7GBs!
any help shedding light on the matter would be appreciated. |

What's the typical size of your cover art and do you store front-, back-, etc. images? And is your music in lossless or lossy format?

only keep front covers, typical size ~60-100kb. i have both lossy and lossless files.
