connecting a ODAC to speakers, cables etc

Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 22-December 12 Member No.: 105335	before i buy a ODAC to replace my MOTU Ultralight i'm not sure if it will connect properly to powered speakers. my Adam Sub8 takes either 2x balanced XLR or 2x unbalanced RCA inputs. which ODAC version should i buy, which cables and are there any other concerns? i'm a little confused with the output jack of the ODAC. from http://www.yoyodyneconsulting.ca/pages/ODAC.html "Alternately, the ODAC can be mounted in a small custom enclosure and used as a standalone DAC with the O2 or any amplifier that has a 2vrms LINE-IN port. You may mount a 3.5mm connector (footprint on the board) or take the LINE-OUT to a pair of panel mounted RCA connectors.
