Hello. I just installed Foobar on a new machine and am slowly transferring my music over. I installed the Columns UI, Audioscrobbler, and Playback Statistics components. The Columns UI has three artsts listed--artists I've never heard of, they probably came with Windows. When I add files to Foobar, I can play them and I see that they are tagged in the main part where the tracks are listed. But the "artist" and "album" columns never update. This will eventually be a problem when I have my vast library fully transferred, so I'd like to fix it asap.

QUOTE When I add files to Foobar how are you doing this? it sounds like you're creating playlists and adding files manually but what you need to do is configure it to monitor your music folders (file>preferences>media library>music folders>add). once you do this, you should find the artist/album "filters" get populated with all your stuff. |
