I can't seem to figure out how to sort artists by alphabetical order, and not having it group any artist starting with "the" under t. Instead, I want it to group them by their actual name after "the". I tried googling this issue but I didn't find anything.

Assuming you're referring to the default sorting in foobar...
Preferences > Shell Integration > Sort incoming files by: I suggest entering this in the box: CODE $stripprefix(%album artist%,The) - %date% - %album% - %discnumber% - %tracknumber% - %title% Next time try searching these forums for the answer before asking as this type of question has been asked and answered innumerable times. I suggest learning foobar's Title Formatting and Query Syntax. This post has been edited by BenB: Mar 7 2013, 17:09 -------------------- This signature apparently isn't too long.

If I may add another request, please also attempt to describe your thread next time. My current signature elaborates. This helps staff to ensure correct placement and topicality of threads, readers and future searchers to quickly ascertain where they can help and/or find interesting discussion, and you to solicit a higher probability of receiving the answers and/or discussion that you want.
