I don't know of any LTP-capable encoder either. I guess you won't get around reading the AAC standard.

Actually, I'm not even sure that most DEcoders support AAC LTP, since it is not allowed in the common Low Complexity (LC) based profiles.

What do you need AAC LTP for?

The only encoders I am aware of that support LTP are FAAC 1.24.1 and CoolEdit Pro 2.1.

I need LTP because it uses all features of MPEG-4 AAC!!! I use FAAC 1.26.1 (Apr 29 2008) but it shows error when I'm trying to Encode in LTP (--obj-type X AAC object type. (LC (Low Complexity, default), Main or LTP
(Long Term Prediction) ) - I use parameter --obj-type LTP
Can you give me the command line for Foobar2000 to encode in LTP using FAAC.exe???
Robert_47
The parameter is correct. The problem is that LTP was removed from FAAC 1.26.1.

foobar2000_0.8.3_special has foo_aac.dll (based on FAAC 1.24) and can convert to LTP AAC.

Please, help me to find FAAC 1.24.1 EXE!!

Me very much interests, what AAC (LTP) encoder is used in Nokia Multimedia Player 6
It converts WAV files in AAC LTP with parametres:
Format: AAC
Format profile: LTP
Bitrate: CBR (128 kbps)

I try to find AAC LTP CBR encoder in the Internet, but saw it only in Nokia Multimedia Player. unsure.gif I assume that it is one of seniors LTP encoders.

But after all and in other programs it should be. smile.gif
What encoder may convert to LTP CBR?
