Hello,

I want to convert DTS 96/24 to one WAVE PCM 5.1 file using a command line tool.

Does DTSdec v0.0.2 (rather old) support this functionallity or has anyone a better tool ?

Also, I want then convert it to FLAC lossless (5.1) - is there a direct way ,too?

thanks

Yes, you can do it in one step with foobar2000 and a flac encoder.

Search for "foo_input_dts" component, download, copy to the "Program Files\foobar2000\components\" directory. This will enable DTS decoding support in fb2k.

Then download FLAC command line encoder (flac.exe) and copy it to the "Program Files\foobar2000\" directory.

Set up converter for FLAC encoding, use parameters string:
--ignore-chunk-sizes -s --best --channel-map=none - -o %d

See also Wiki for additional information on foobar2000:
