sorry, nothing - I was stupid and thinking it all wrong... sorting -85 != "-85" right ?
Curi0us_George has written plugin wich adds sortings to a right click menu. Check the 3rd party plugins topic.

Look at the output it returns and it'll be fairly obvious why it doesn't work properly.
0-1
0-2
...
-10
-11
...
By the way, $sub(%tracknumber%,$add(%tracknumber%,%tracknumber%)) is a really backwards way to subtract a number from zero. Just use: $sub(0,%tracknumber%)
edit: Slow typing . . .

Actually, I think in foobar -85 is the same thing as "-85", because it's all string stuff.
Why would you ever need negative track numbers, though?
now this is some fast response don't you think?

Wait, did you say you were trying to sort in descending order?
$sub(100,%tracknumber%)
Well that was hard

Oh yes it works...
I just figured it out just like you. Thanks for both anyway.

That $sub(1000000,%tracknumber%) worked fine. Are you thinking something more elegant?

Actually, I was looking at the playlist numbers on the left instead of the track numbers and thinking that it didn't sort properly for some reason.
Luckily I'm not onlyone writing nonsense here

( oh when I'm gonna learn to keep it simple... )
Anza, still playing good old Q? ...yes, I'm not from afganistan...
