I've been using dBpowerAMP Music Converter (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm) to convert my oggs into mp3s to listen on an mp3 player every now and then. It has a right click menu feature which allows to select a group of files and then choose convert in the menu. However, after installing foobar 0.666/0.667 - if I associate oggs and playlists (*.m3u) with foobar - the foobar "Play in foobar2000", "Enqueue in foobar2000" and "Open in foobar2000" menus overwrite all the dBpowerAMP menus AND the default WMP values. Is it possible to make it add those menu choices instead of overwriting all the other choices?

Thanks!

No one has any idea on this one? :-)

Don't associate foobar with those filetypes if you don't want it to be associated with them.

Check the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT section in your registry. Every file extension is represented by a key, i.e. .mp3. Every extension key links to one named file type key, which in turn contains all of the actions and icons associated with that file type. Rather than add its actions to the existing file types for each extension, Foobar2000 installer creates a new type key, Foobar2000.file and associates all requested extensions with it. If you must have the other actions, peep around in the registry for the action keys and hand copy them. Automatically inserting actions into an existing file type is a much more complicated process.

Thanks! I'll see if I can find anything in the registry.
