You may need to install a new audio codec on your computer to listen to the audio.
You can either stop playback now or watch the video without the audio."

Apparently nobody here knows 'intervideo dvd copy'.

You might want to try doom9.net, they're the video experts.
Emanuel
As Garf said, go to Doom9. I have though experienced the same thing, and that was caused by an ac3 stream (the original dvd audio stream) in the video. That means you'll have to install an ac3 codec such as Nimo, or transcode the ac3 stream to mp3 (or Vorbis if you want an ogm video file) before merging video and audio.

Nimo is no AC3 codec, it's a codec collection. It's better to install codecs manually, one by one.

To play files with AC3 audio, use this filter: http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/

It takes some time to find good settings for it, but it pays off.

Hmm, that should have been written in a bigger font wink.gif

I think we all know people who are definately less than happy after installing the Nimo Codec Pack.

or use the Moonlight Odio Dekoda DirectShow® filter which can be downloaded HERE.

Yeah, you could use Moonlight Odio Dekoda, but personally I think AC3Filter is a much better choice.
Feature list:
* Full AC3 standard compliance.
* S/P DIF passthrough support.
* Decode MPEG2 PES streams.
* Multichannel output support.
* LFE support.
* Dynamic Range Compression (DRC) support.
* Overflow control and automatic gain control.
* Gain levels control.
* Bitstream information (channel format, bitrate, sample rate, coupling freq and maximun freq).
* Input/output levels.
* Matrix mixer with direct control of mixing matrix.
* Stereo to multichannel mixing.
* DolbySurround/ProLogic/ProLogicII downmixing.
* Delays for each channel.
* Equalizer.

Just to inform people: Intervideo DVD Copy won't work with encrypted DVDs. If you want to simply do a 1:1 DVD copy, you're better off with DVDdecrypter. (which is also free)

Download GSpot from here: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/, load the file and see what it shows under "audio format", then post the results here. smile.gif
