Hi.

I noticed that Nero supports, Long Term Prediction (LTP) but it won't write LTP MP4's, is there any reason for this.

Why is it the only encoded to support it, and will it play on my iPod.

What's the difference between the to, Long Term Prediction and Low Complexity. Does it effect quality???

Many Thanks

LTP supposed to have better bit allocation???
Most potable device only supports LC, are you sure Ipod can decode LTP properly?
FAAD in windows decodes LTP pretty badly as far as I know. dry.gif

LTP should give higher quality on certain files (not on all), because it can save some extra bits.

iPod does not support LTP files.

FAAD2 decodes LTP fine if you ask me, I think I would blame buggy LTP encoding for bad sound.
