Some remarks about what this frontend is able to do:In general one important thing, which at the moment no other frontend provides: Encoding, tagging
and replaygaining of as many files as you want in just
one step. Tagging offers a big flexibility in doing it´s job (as already known from "the tagger that uses tag"). Maintaining source-directory structure. Continuing cancelled encoding-processes at the right position.
For using this frontend optimal, check the following settings (most of them are already set by default):
- "Save plugin and gain settings" set
- "Save window position and size" set
- "Check files when added to filelist" set
- "Beep when finished" set

- "Skip file when already exists" set
-
"Gain whole list (not only checked)" (IMPORTANT !)
set- Priority: Idle
- State: Hide
- PlugIn options: "tag" set
- PlugIn options: "gain" set
- Set your wished tag-options
- Set your wished gain-options
Now this frontend should do the following: Encoding the whole files which were dropped in the filelist-window from the first to the last one. Cancelling and resuming, even shutting down the frontend is no problem. The encoding-process will always be resumed at the correct place again. The filelist will not be cleared out of the encoding-window, until it´s done manually. Tagging is done right after each file is encoded. If the last file is encoded, it starts to replaygain all files by automatic. Of course the album replaygain-values are computed correctly. You even have the possibilty to let the system do an auto shut-down if all is done.
