I was wondering... If I used AAChoo versus Quicktime itself, would I still get the same quality encoding for anygiven setting? Basically I am wondering if using a Front-End makes any difference, or is it just use the encoder in the same way.

Thanks,
Mouse

Get the AAChoo developers to port their front-end to Windows, and I will be happy to tell you! wink.gif

Seriously, if the front-end passes on your desired setting properly to the encoder, there should be no worries. You could always make some test encodings with and without the front-end and compare the file sizes to see if they are identical.

Thanks for the advice smile.gif. I just wasn't sure if the Front-End affected the encoding in any way, besides providing an easier way to encode files.

Thanks again,
Mouse
