Full Version: Crash while connected to shoutcast server

This happens at work, I listen to a friends shoutcast server
since I don't have any mp3 stored locally.

I just get a generic error windows message with a
few memory locations, click ok and foobar closes

I have not been able to test with local mp3s yet

System Info:
Windows 2k sp3 and all windows updates

Installs that might be relevant
vb6
.net framework
sql server 2000 enterprise manager

Dell optiplex GX260:
P4 2.4Ghz
256mb pc2100 ddr
onboard intel vid
onboard soundmax sound
onboard intel NIC
musicmusic
did you try foo_read_http.dll (see the forum thread about it)

I grabbed some mp3s off my home machine and
I have had them playing for over an hour with no crashes

The crash when connected to the shoutcast server was
happening every few minutes. sometimes twice a song.

I will look up foo_read_http.dll thanks
