Hi,
1 .I have recently bought an Epox 8rda MOBO. Some say that it's integrated sound chip produces output very closely to the audigy 2 card. I'm currently using an aureal 2 based card (azetch pci 338-a3d) card. Should I stay with my previous card or should I go for the epox chip?
2. I'm also looking for some fairly cheap headphones (sub 25$) for temporary use (I'm thinking of buying some sennheisers later). What can you recommend for that price? I'd like those headphones to last for a few years, so later I can use them as my secondary set.

best regards

Tge 8rda are not soundstorm/dolby certified

The abit nf7-s is

a soundstrom certified sound shoud lbe somwhere around audigy1

i believe that you old aztech soundcard i making much lower wquality sound as
1: aztec is a lowpriced product
2: is is a very old card

to sum it up
I believe that tehe onboard sound should be better but if you had boguth the abit nf7-s the sound should be even better yet.

Go for KOSS KSC-50 or 55 (they are the same, but one is Clip-On and other is Around the neck @ Amazon for 13 bucks

In case you are in doubt, type KSC-55 or KSC-50 in the Quick Search box wink.gif
