I'd like to request functionality that lets you save/load the playlist title formatting strings to/from text files. I believe this would make it much easier to work with multiple format strings, for users that either like to change them or wish to sample other formats.

Already implemented - use copy/paste and notepad.

But it would be great to be able to switch between different profiles during runtime.
(Like the way Exact Audio Copy does)

Oh, brother. What's with the cheeky comments? Am I the only one that has noticed that a fair number of foobar users seem to be pretty snide? It's not an attractive quality.

As for a solution, I know it's not elegant but you could always write batch files to copy/overwrite the foobar2000.cfg file with the one of your choice. Just make sure you copy your current foobar2000.cfg file to another filename.

for example - config1.bat:
@copy c:\path\foo_config1.cfg c:\path\foobar2000.cfg /Y

Then just make icons for each batch file to run the config of your choice.

This might be a workable solution until this feature is implemented

Yes yes... I know you can use files and copy/paste. My point was that this is inconvenient, and it doesn't seem like it would be a hard thing to add.

Of course, with your attitude you could probably say that everything in foobar is useless... you could just use mpcdecode.exe and a wave file player, for example!

lesson: don't bother if you aren't going to be helpful. Noone wants to read your smarmyness.
