I want to convert some 48khz files down to 44.1 khz and was wondering about some settings in Cool Edit Pro's stuff.

Naturally, I set the Low/High Quality all the way to High (999) and enabled Pre/Post Proceessing

now, the question comes in Dithering..I have several options..here's the default stuff.

Dithering bits is set at 1
p.d.f. is set to trignaular (rectangular, gaussian, shaped triangular and shaped gaussian are also there)
and I put noise Shaping at 44.1khz (A B C1 C2 D E1 E2 and a few others are available)

if someone could advise me on what would give the highest quality output, I'd appreciate it.
