Hi while searching for available mp3 directshow decoder filters i found this message on the mad developer maillist! there a guy called Armin Gerritsen wrote that he already started to code such a filter (based on mad) but never released any sources/links or so...

so i wanted to ask if someone knows something about this issue cause an opensource directshow filter (perhaps based on mad) would be great smile.gif

Milan Cutka (the author of ffdshow) already started a ffdshow Audio Decoder, it will contain a MPEG-Audio decoder, which is most likely MAD (probably the mp3-decoder of mplayer, but I said to him he should use MAD, because itīs the most compatible/best/fastest decoder). It will also decode WMA and some other formats.
