i got a question. i scanned my EAC 3.90.3 compresssed folder while a file was compressing and it said it was gogo (after 3.0) while compressing temp. but when its done and i rescan the folder it says 3.90 lame. help me out wats up with this?

The encoding wasn't completed yet, so the file wasn't done, and it guessed it was gogo because the full filew wasn't there. B)

LAME files have a LAME tag at the beginning (right after the Xing header in VBR files). This tag has a bunch of stuff in it like lowpass, q setting, vbr quality, etc. It is written AFTER the encoding is finished though because it needs information only collected after the fact (like file size, frame count). So you scanned a LAME file without a LAME header. Hence the confusion.
