Does anyone know what happened to Tagger, by Max Bureck. It looks like the site is gone. Does anyone have a backup?

Unfortunately I reached the traffic-limit sad.gif . I don't have the money to buy me more, so you can't open the site and neither download Tagger nor UniversalFront. If someone can host my site, I'll be glad.

How about merging it into Rarewares? The FAQ section on your page was never used, and I'm sure they can put the screenshots somewhere near a link to the zip, source and installer of Tagger and UniversalFront respectively.

I don't know if I want to move comletely to Rarewares (if I'm allowed to).
The Site was not the problem, it was the huge size of the last Tagger version (because of the dll). Of course, it would be cool if Rarewares could offer Tagger for download.
Give me some time to think about it.

I could be your host if you like.
I even have a domain socket left, f.e. 'tagger.biz'. You'd get an ftp account for uploading stuff. The site is hosted by 1&1 in Germany, the largest webhost in Europe....

If it's only the file itself you want to keep somewhere else for downloading I think rarewares is not such a good option due to their "anti-leach" filter (checking the referrer). But I think I could have the files on my university webspace for the next two years. Just I can't give you ftp access there - you'd have to mail the files to me.

This is good news! Thank you for the offers!
If cookie hosts the Tagger-website and Eric's University the files, it is a perfect solution. I could use my webspace for the upcomming UF-website then.
Do you agree with that?

Fine with me. Let's PM...

After you guys have haggled the details out can you post a link to the new site here or in another post?

Thanks for all your work, I think I speak for many here wink.gif

And to think that I brought you all together... I'm getting teary-eyed... (sniff)

Seriously though, I'm glad to see you'll be back up and running. I was trembling at the thought of losing two of the best front ends available!

Thanks to cookie, Everything is up again!
The Tagger-website even has an additional domain now:
tagger.boereck.de
Universalfront can now be Downloaded over unifront.boereck.de/universalfront.zip.
UniversalFront-page will be ready at 1st of July.

Do we still need another host? It's uploaded here: http://www.dtek.chalmers.se/~d99papa/tagger/index.htm
And at least the program files will stay until I hear it's not needed anymore.
