I've read on Nero's site,
http://www.ahead.de/en/nero55.htm#q05
that Nero 5.5 has a "Audio Plug-In Interface" to help us keep up with new audio formats.

So has anyone gone through the trouble of making a plug-in for Ogg Vorbis yet? (if so where do I get it)

Well this would be great (FLAC plugin too!) smile.gif

But, as it reads on their page:

The documentation isn't ready yet I suppose...

Hmm...an MPC plugin for Nero would also be the bee's knees. biggrin.gif

I'd be interested in this also. From what I read, the audio plug-in should be able to support just about any audio format so long as the plug-in is written properly.

If anyone has the skill to do it... a winamp/nero cross plug-in would be the MOST biggrin.gif useful: think how many formats we could manage... :naughty:

They probably won't ditch MP3PRO, but they will start supporting AAC. wink.gif
And MPEG4.
