I've just downloaded an mp3 from God Hates Us All. It's an A Capella version of Slayers Angel of Death (If you like Slayer, download it. It's hilarious).

This song was heavily distorted so I opened it in mp3gain and did a track analysis. It reported the Max NoClip Gain to be -7.5 dB(!). I did a Track Gain and now I sounds quite good.

I simply didn't think it was possible to get such severe clipping during decoding. Is it possible someone actually did a Track Gain on this clip after the encoding to boost the volume and then uploaded it?
