Yes the winning bid was $14.50 and yes 14 people bid for it...why didn't I think of this?

This could be great law class fodder. If the winning bidder refuses to pay, could the seller claim that he had shipped nothing and therefore was due payment.

Would the bidders defence be the same: that the seller had shipped nothing?
