I'm working on an application in delphi and I cannot make lame_enc.dll (3.93.1) to work properly. I think the problem is not in my program. I downloaded several open-source apps (made in delphi) which use lame_enc.dll and they have the same problems (VBR won't work, quality settings won't change, an ugly "pop" sound appears on the begining and on the end of the mp3).
I would be grateful if someone here knows how to solve this (and of course tells me how).

I think you would save yourself a lot of hassle if you would use the lame.exe.

Well, I see you took my advice, cool! krampus posted same subject in CDex's forums and I told him that he will get better help here.

However, this thread should have been started in MP3 Tech and not MPC Tech. I am sure a mod will fix this. wink.gif

Edit: Fixed! smile.gif

I used it before, but I wanted to get rid of the dos program. Also I don't want to see the MS-DOS prompt but without it I can't show the progress of the encoding.

Look for RazorLame. It is a Delphi program, and hides the DOS prompt while still giving a status display. It has full source code available.

If you have other Delphi questions, feel free to PM me. I have some experience with it.
