Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd, Disc 2

Guess I have to give the oddball response here: My two favourite Pink Floyd songs are "The Nile Song" (from Music from the film More) and "Country Song" (the soundtrack version from Zabriskie Point), and although they're not playing at the moment I do have them queued up for later.

Outstanding selection! Claire Torry's voice is the perfect compliment to the that song.

Right now I'm listening to my favorite Pink Floyd song of them all...this song "is what music is to me"...

If I did that, I'd post in this thread every four minutes or so tongue.gif

But right now, it's...

A Great Day for Freedom

I just tried listening to Division Bell again after a few years of not hearing it, I just couldn't dig it. The Final Cut is playing now and it's staying on for the duration. user posted image

Do you have a link? Amazon returns no results, I found this comment at the PinkFloydHyperbase:

Pompeii on DVD! Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii is also about to be released on DVD. The Pompeii DVD was expected for region 2 in June but seems to have been delayed untill October 20th, 2003. More details soon about the DVD release.
robert
well, I ordered LaP at www.Amazon.de

just noticed that amazon.com gives some hits for "Delicate Sound of Thunder" and "Pulse" but none for "Live at Pompeji", whereas amazon.de says "Live at Pompeji" is released and available in 1 or 2 weeks, but gives no hits for "DSoT" and "Pulse".

Sorry if I sound like an ass, but I'm thinking loud here...do we really need another Pink Floyd thread and especially of such nature?

Sure, I'm a devoted fan myself as well, but what happens if everybody decides to start a similar thread for their beloved group/artist? Is there any point in asking others to write down the song they are playing by their preffered group, everytime the do that...I mean it doesn't even sound informative or fun!? unsure.gif

IMHO this is one of those threads that really don't have any, but any, real excuse for appearing. PF greatness is being covered already in various other threads...why spend even more Kb for them?

It's not my intention to be rude or anything, but I feel unable to explain the existence of this topic...

Here's some more kb wasted:
