We have a problem with our static content http server, which serves images. We will fix this as soon as possible.
I installed a text skin which is temporarely in use for everybody.
Edit: ***FIXED***
Hmm, loads a lot slower without the images actually

that's normal as it has to wait for every connection to the image to time-out. long messages with lotsf smilies are a real pain ;-).

You'll only see avatars that are loading from sites other than HA. Avatars uploaded directly to HA (like mine) will be out of order until their image server is fixed.

Things should be back to normal now. Not quite sure why the server died, but I'll keep a close eye on it today. Unfortunately things seemed to have blown up as soon as I decided to go to sleep.. heh.

If you're still having problems viewing images, the following worked for me:
at a command prompt
ipconfig /flushdns
I think this applies to windows 2000 and up - haven't actually investigated why a dns flush suddenly made all images appear a lot quicker, but there you go...
