Hi Snelg,

Thanks for building in the undo feature into MP3Gain. This is a great addition to a useful tool. I was just wondering whether future versions of MP3Gain are guaranteed to be able to read the undo information created by 1.2 beta. I was following the discussions in the thread MP3Gain 1.1 Beta about whether a different tag should be used to store this information, and I don't want to MP3Gain all my files only to find that the tag used changes and it can't be read any more.

Thanks,
Tim.

Forward compatibility, yes.
Other tagging options will be additional options, not replacement options.

Excellent. Thank you Glen.

Do you have any plans yet as to what the future tagging scheme will be?

btw, There is a link to the "General - (MP3/MP3Pro)" forum on HA at the bottom of your MP3Gain website main page which does not work any more.

Still haven't decided on which tagging scheme to add.

Thanks for pointing out the broken link.

Any chance that the amount by which the gain has been modified (the undo value) could be displayed as a column in the MP3Gain GUI?

Thanks.
Tim.
