I'm looking for a buzzer-like soundsample. There is a quiz-show in Germany in which this sound is played back when someone gives a false answer. It should be in an interval like buzzz buzzz buzzz but with a more nasal "e" instead of the u... (?, I guess it's difficult to explain)

I wanna use this in a video I captured with a HandyCam. Someone did a really stupid mistake and I'd like to underline this smile.gif

TV phones jack -> computer line-in? If it appears during the show often you might have some luck capturing it with handclaps and voices. If they still broadcast that program, that is. smile.gif

sadly that won't work as my pc is in another room than the tv is...

any other ideas?

Could you try creating something with an audio program like Cool Edit, and mixing waveforms? You probably want a square or sawtooth waveform (likely the latter), and perhaps mix a couple together at varying frequencies.

Or -- record your voice making an "Ehhhht!" sound, then play with parameters like frequency and EQ to make it sound more mechanical. tongue.gif

this is quite what I was looking for!
