Ok. Since yesterday I have Nero V6. And already weeks ago I read, that this new version fixes the 64-char-limit-problem. So I tried with it a few hours ago - and see: It works. The annoying limitation of filenames longer than 64 chars has gone when burning in UDF-Mode. So I think I can start to backup my MPC´s on DVD+R now. But now my question: Which of the UDF-modes offers best compatibility in general? UDF V1.02, UDF V1.50 or UDF V2.01 ? - Or is it all equal?!

Well, you won't need to put those in a set-top dvd player, so... why the compatibility concern ?

I was afraid it could not be read by DVD-Rom-drives, which are not like the burner. - But tell me: Where is the exact difference between those UDF-modes? - I have no idea at the moment.

I'm also interested in, what are the differences between UDF versions?
