Like "shoddy", "second-rate", "slipshod" or simply "bad", "poor" or "crap". I think "bad" or "low quality" is the best wording because it's understood no matter how fluent you are at speaking English.

I guess Andreas or Frank knew the perfect word in German, and a dictionary or translation service came up with "slovenly". Slovenly makes sense to me.

In any case, the program suggests what to do about it quite adequately, so this thread is only about their interesting choice of word.
