After :

Which is your preferred album ?

Which is the couverture of album that you preferred ?

Here which are the tags that you prefer add to your audio files.

I speak here about flexible tags and user defined such ape v2 or those of the oggs, and perhaps of others still.

Personally I like to add (in addition to usual information such ARTIST, ALBUM, TRACK):

COMMENT = Ripped by _mtth.th_
LOCATION = Reims, France
CDROM = CRW2200 Yamaha
RIPPED WITH = EAC 0.95 pb3
ENCODED WITH = mppenc 1.14
REPLAYGAIN WITH = replaygain 0.84

Maybe you think too much is too much rolleyes.gif , but you, what do you think about this ?

Do you add tags ? Which ? Or do you use only 'minimal' ones ? Or do you hate them and never but never use it ?

I have mostly oldies rock 'n' roll and pop. I include the BPM (beats per minute), the peak position the song reached on the Billboard Chart, the year it reached that peak, the source of the track, what software I used to rip and encode, what settings were used for the encoding.

Sometimes I cram the information into the wrong fields just so I can view it with the available players (peak position in the track field, BPM in the album field). Sometimes I make my own fields so the information will be in the correct field name.

I only use: artist, title, album, tracknumber, comment and performer for a various artist album.
No need to say that the comment field is often a real mess. But I usually keep it "invisible" in fb2k.

You should type your complete adress, just for pleasing RIAA and others "gendarmes du web" wink.gif

I'm happy to add :
- performer
- conductor
- period
- nation (of artist/composition)

and some additional one :
- label
- composer (instead of ARTIST)
- composition (instead of ALBUM)
