I d/l'ed Frank's MPC v0.90s encoder from here:

http://www.uni-jena.de/~pfk/mpp/#encoder-binaries

but the DOS windows says that it's version 'r'.

Is that correct, or did I do something worng?

The encoder works fine .. with both Speek's batch & EAC user defined.

Err... isn't 0.90u the last version? Other than from testing I don't see why you wouldn't use the latest version:

Can you locate that file on the page? I only see o & s.

When I encode using EAC (--xtreme %s %d), all goes well .. no errors, but when I try to play the file with Winamp (have latest plug-in), I get error:

Error:function play()

Superframe-size!=1 not supported any more. PLease decode withn command line tool.

When I encode with Speeks batch (same encoder), I don't get this error.

Winamp 2.78

Ideas?

disable adding of id3v2 tags in eac.

latest winamp plugin should ignore id3v2s. are you sure you have the latest one (0.90k)?

ps: try to download the files from musepack.org. they are up-to-date.

Thx for the reply.

Your sugestion worked like magic.

I *did* have k installed, but went and d/l'ed the .exe from

http://members.aol.com/pumpkinz99/

anyway. No diff. Same error. No problem.

'preciate the help.

Okay, downloaded version 'u' says 'u' (in the encoder).

Do you guys have any *decoding* suggestions? I see some switches available ...
