That "security" update is a little understated. According to Microsoft, there is a huge hole where MIDI files can execute code in the victim's machine. And since MIDI files play automatically in IE (for background music)...

hm is windows 2003 server also an XP based system? will it work in win2k3 machines ?

Not quite. They're both NT 5.x (XP 5.1, Server 2003 5.2) but they have some differences. BTW, I once used a "server2workstation" converter in Windows Server 2003 and the thing was completely converted to Windows XP Pro (boot logo, about box, even the Welcome to Windows XP tour...). And it only made changes to the registry... ohmy.gif

Yes. Check this: http://www.msfn.org/win2k3/ . A lot of experts say one shouldn't be using Windows Server 2003 as a workstation, though. They are probably right. But I did it and never had any problems.
