Is it possible to encode a DJ mix album (many tracks mixed into one long set) to mp3 and play it back without little hiccups between the tracks WITHOUT making one big mp3 for the whole album ?

At the moment, only with a cross-fading plug-in for playback.
Latest foobar2000 0.7 beta can play LAME encodes gaplessly.

And Winamp 2.X with
MP3Splice plugin will gaplessly play everything you throw at it.
With this and Foobar2000's newest beta, you don't need to look around no more.
Pardon me, but don't the default Winamp plugins already provide gapless playback?
At the very least, they are gapless to me.
Please clarify if I am wrong. Thanks.
