I'm sure someone else will suggest something, but I say pay the money & get Tag&Rename. Support is great (they will personally answer Emails), and support for ID3V2 with MPC files in now included.

The prog is so intuitive you won't believe it... give it a tryout!

Fewtch''' Thanks just checked it out..... Had it on a list of reccommended taggers.... I see they have a trial version Thx

Before writting this I was checking MP3 Tag studio.. But they had add ware attached.... Then I was looking into Helium2, The tagg and rename free version but I would have to upgrade me Win98se windows installer to version 2 and a component of direct x MDAC version 6 or higher... I don't like screwing with the operating system so I posted here... Others??

LameB is my favorite. It basically automates the whole process. One click, and it creates folders, encodes the mp3s, tags them, makes .m3u files. It's great. I've put it together in a package where you don't need to install perl...

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/pub/users/gtaylor/

it's called lamepackage*.zip

Note this is just something I put together and is not official or anything. But it's already configured and will only take you about 5 minutes to set up.
