Will I gain any sound quality setting my Audio HQ S/PDIF output to 96 khz and then using SSRC resample in Foobar 2000 to upsample my mp3s to 96 khz?

Hardware is: Audigy 2 platinum, Onkyo SR600E.

Worth noticing might be that amp recognices signal as 96 khz when setting this in Audio HQ. Though at this setting I sometimes get stutters when playing music..
