Wanted to let everyone know that we're in the process of moving to a new server, so there might be some small issues with the forum functionality for the next few days while all the bugs are ironed out. At the moment, the DNS change hasn't carried over to the new name servers yet, which is why the url looks kind of funny. This will change back in the next few days. In the meantime, I'd ask that anyone posting links to other threads on this board do so using the hydrogenaudio.org domain. The links will still work even now and will definitely cause less of a headache once the old server is taken offline completely.

As usual, if there are problems that you notice, post to this thread.

Spotted a problem so far.

The time indicators are off for 2 hours ( that is... they indicate two hours less than they should ). I suppose the server is located in another timeframe so this needs to be recalculated.

No idea whether this is related or not, but today, whenever I close IE5 down, it logs me out of Hydrogen Audio. I can navigate the forums ok, but when I close the window, I need to log in again.

... Mind you, there are numerous random issues with 'The Internet' here at work - if noone else has this problem, it can be put down to "Random Factor", and will probably get better by next week

Edit: Must be a problem - I remained logged in if I go directly to http://64.246.62.80/

Cookies (the tool that lets websites store information in your HD for uses like user identification and others), are independent for each site address.

As Dibrom said, currently there's this problem with the DNS name server, and you don't see "hydrogenaudio.org" but "64.246.62.80". This means your PC has two independent cookies, one for "hydrogenaudio.org" and the other for "64.246.62.80".
If you switch between both addresses, the cookie information is not maintained.

No more problems should arise when the address is correct again.

The audio-illumination.org domain is not (yet) be redirected for me

This is why Lev is having to log in everytime I think. If I use the audio illumination url I have to log in, using http://www.hydrogenaudio.org i do not.

Nobody should be using the audio-illumination.org domain to navigate the forums in the first place. The domain has purposely not been transferred over since I'm still using the old server for a few things.

uploads folder musn't be CHMODed correctly

Its just the work computer being wierd. I stay logged in at either http://www.hydrogenaudio.org or http://64.246.62.80/ at home
