Full Version: Bad Playlist using EAC & REX quality?
Hydrogenaudio Forums > Lossy Audio Compression > MPC
shutDOWN
Ok, made the move from mp3 and started archiving. After several recommendations I decided to archive w/ .mpc using REX quality.
I went through the entire REX tutorial last nite, the results were astounding.
But, the playlist that EAC creates will not work! I think I get an error message
like "the playlist cannot be found or read", tried this in both WA 2.91 and FB2k
.667. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Open the playlist in notepad and past it here so we can have a look.

I doubt that using EAC to create the playlist is a good way. For playlist creation I have used Case's Tag and Tag frontend which Speek has created. The combo really makes tagging & creating playlists easy.

EAC creates automatically a playlist *.m3u

if you had the selected that option in EAC settings somewhere.
no problem usually.

of course, playlists can be created quickly and fast by other methods, like by Winamp, or whatever program.

just use cli for a basic (single diretory-album) playlist creation, get into the directory and then:

dir *.mpc /B >play.m3u
