Using Floats Mobile Agent and my Sony Ericsson T68i i can now control my foobar2k with my cell phone wirelessly via bluetooth... better than IR remote i would bet.

if you want details im happy to share my FMA script as well as details on how to set it up.

requires bluetooth adapter on the PC (like a pci card or a USB dongle), and a sony ericsson T68i Cell phone.

I would explain further, but its quite a bit of typing and im quite tired.

later

ps... links to FMA

FMA home page: http://eflame.com/fma/
FMA on SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fma/

edit2:

probably also works with these phones:

SonyEricsson T68m
Ericsson T39
Ericsson R520m

i have a t six ten and want the script biggrin.gif
atm i dont have a bluetooth dongle but i will buy it in the next days
spase
okay i will post the script...

currently it needs a little editing (i moved my dongle to the other PC and it gave script errors on startup, but it was still functional) but it still works.

if someone wants to edit it, please tell me so i can get the updated version.

i take no credit for the editing i did to the script, all i did was change a few names and hotkey defs.

oh yea you need some new hotkeys.. ill list them hold on.

okay make sure the following hot keys are set...

CODE
"Z" = Stop
"X" = Pause
"N" = Play/Pause
"S" = Next
"D" = Random
"SHIFT + V" = Previous
"+" = Vol. Up
"-" = Vol. Down
"CTRL + SHIFT + M" = Toggle Mute

Also the title bar of the window (or of foo_utfs) needs to have the word foobar at the beginning at all times. At this time there is no way around this, and i dont plan to try to find one, as i actually do not know how to write VBScript things, only how to edit whats already there.

Oh yea this script has a buncha other shit in it, all of which i disabled, but you can mess with it if you like.

I most likely will not edit it any more, but if someone could find a way to get the current playlist to the phone, that would be awesome. I was going to try this, but VBScript has no clipboard support (was gonna use SendKeys in VBScript to select all and copy/paste the contents of the playlist to clipboard or something).

okay here's the link: http://home.outerspase.net:81/foobar_control.VBScript

enjoy.

please post here if you make any improvements to the script.

(also a email wouldnt hurt)

[OT] oh by the way when you get a dongle, you may need to edit a registry value to be able to bluetooth pictures to your pc... i cant recall, but i can find out for you if you want [/OT]

Since he isnt getting the script back, I figured it out on my own from a carpedi3m 2.0a script. I kept in the windows media player support as well as volume control.

Note: Just so you know, this is hosted on my linux server in my house attached to my cable modem. Uptime isnt 100%, and who knows when i'll fudge up apache lol. If it's down and you want a copy of the script email me at skreet@jillett.com , but please try the server first smile.gif Thanks.

Also note: When you use the next and previous playlist buttons, they wont start playing automatically, you have to then press "Next". Thats the way foobar is designed.

EDIT: Links have been fixed, I had the wrong permissions set.

EDIT 2: Fixed Links again -- my sevrer now has a root level domain name smile.gif and I made changes accordingly. Enjoy.

Is it a program to control with my samsung d500 by bluethoot or other?
thanks wink.gif

If you've got a k700i get a copy of HID configuration editor and create a new remote control profile for your phone using whatever keyboard shortcuts you have for foobar2000. You can use this to make profiles for more or less any windows program.
